Fipronil 2.92% EC is a broad-spectrum insecticide that works by targeting the central nervous system of insects. It acts by selectively binding to gamma-amino butyric acid (GABA) receptors, which are important in transmitting nerve impulses in insects. By binding to these receptors, fipronil disrupts the normal Functioning of the insects' nervous system, leading to hyper excitation of nerve cells and eventually causing paralysis and death.
